Cheap gas stations near me

Do not look only at the cheapest pump price. Calculate which station actually costs you less.

Using your location, the amount you want to fill and an estimate of the detour, ComparaFactura identifies the option that offers the best overall value within 5, 15, 25, 50 or 100 km.

Your browser will ask for location permission. Your exact coordinates are used locally to calculate distances; the price endpoint receives the selected fuel type, not your location. The tool only records aggregate usage counters (visits, clicks and calculations), without storing coordinates or user identifiers.

What makes this fuel finder different?

The station with the lowest price per litre is not always the cheapest overall. This tool distinguishes between cheapest fuel, nearest station and best option for you by combining the litres you want to fill with an estimated detour cost.

It also calculates an approximate break-even point: the amount of fuel from which driving to a cheaper station may start to pay off compared with a nearby alternative.

Important: the detour calculation is indicative. The initial distance is straight-line distance, not a road route, and it does not include traffic, tolls, time or private discounts.

Official prices and reporting date

Prices come from the Spanish government’s public Fuel Prices service. ComparaFactura queries the official source, normalises the required fields and keeps a short cache so each search does not depend on a full download.

When available from the source, we show each station’s price reporting timestamp. For accuracy, we refer to the latest officially reported price, not a “guaranteed real-time price”. The price displayed at the station and its conditions take precedence.

How we calculate whether a longer detour is worth it

  1. We calculate the straight-line distance between your device and each station.
  2. We filter stations within the selected radius: 5, 15, 25, 50 or 100 km.
  3. We calculate the fuel cost: litres × official price.
  4. We estimate the fuel used for an approximate return trip using the consumption figure you provide.
  5. We add fuel purchase + detour cost to rank by estimated total cost.
  6. We compare the result with the nearest station to show “worth it / not worth it” and the break-even amount in litres when it can be calculated.

Frequently asked questions

What does “it pays off from X litres” mean?

It is an estimate of the break-even point. If a station charges less per litre but requires a longer drive, we calculate how many litres are needed for the saving per litre to exceed the estimated extra detour cost.

Is my location stored?

Not by this tool. Your exact location is obtained through browser geolocation and used in JavaScript to calculate distances. The price endpoint does not need to receive your coordinates.

Why does the distance not exactly match Google Maps?

Because we use straight-line distance and an approximation for the cost calculation. A real route depends on roads, access points, traffic direction, congestion and other factors.

Does it include discounts or promotions?

No. The ranking uses the officially reported price for the selected fuel. Private discounts, coupons or loyalty schemes may change the effective cost.
